Apple Picking Update October14-15

October 12, 2023 by Albion Orchards

It is now the height of Apple Picking Season here. There are lots and lots of crispy sweet apples to pick right off of our trees. Empire, Spartan, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Ida Red are in great abundance and easy to find in the orchard. There are still some Mutsu, Cortland, Northern Spy, Fuji ,Pink Lady, Jonagold, and some small Honeycrisp and Gala apples for those who search around and really know what to look for. Granny Smith, Ambrosia, Golden Russet, Gingergold, Paula Red, Tydeman Red, Orange Pippen, and Pears are pretty much all picked now. Whatever quantities of these other fruit varieties we have in storage, we are putting on display for sale in our country market store.
