Reindeer are incredibly cute and friendly animals – we should have a herd of Santa’s Helpers around the farm all year long! Many happy visitors came out to see Reindeer and cut their own Christmas Trees… the Hot Apple Cider was flowing and the Christmas Spirit was everywhere… What fun !
Everyone knows that Reindeer love to eat apples…. Have you ever seen a real, live Reindeer? Have you ever fed an apple to a Reindeer? Would you like to have your picture taken with one? Two of Santa’s favorites will be stopping by the farm this season- come out and meet them!

The tree must be set in nice and straight . Steel posts are used for support. The tree goes into the newly dug hole . Roots are covered but the graft union must remain just above the soil level. We use a lot of mulch around the young trees. Notice the thick layer of straw which helps shade the soil and conserve moisture.
